1. General

The protection of your personal data and full disclosure of the use of your personal data when using our website is very important to us. We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act as amended (DSG). In the following, we inform you about the collection and processing of the personal data you provide when you visit the website www.d-a-m.cc (this is all information that can be directly or indirectly related to you personally, such as name, address, etc.).

Dynamic Assembly Machines Anlagenbau GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “DAM”) operates a website at www.d-a-m.cc to present and advertise the range of goods and services offered by DAM, to make contact with DAM and to present current vacancies, including the option of sending in applications for advertised vacancies by e-mail.

2. Data usage

If you only use our website for informational purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that the browser you use transmits to the server we use. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you (also in the correct language for you) and to ensure stability and security:

  • IP address of the user;
  • Location of the user
  • Date and time of the request;
  • Time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT);
  • Content of the request (specific page);
  • Access status/HTTP status code;
  • amount of data transferred in each case;
  • Website from which the request originates;
  • Browser;
  • Operating system and its interface;
  • Language and version of the browser software.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (safeguarding legitimate interests, as without the use of data described above, it would not be possible for us to operate our website in an appropriate, stable and system-secure manner and thus maintain a corresponding external presence).

3. Cookies

In addition to the data listed in point 2, cookies are stored on your computer when you use our website and are used to collect and store information about you and your usage behavior in order to provide you with information that is tailored to your individual needs and relevant to you. Cookies are small text files that are stored by a website server on your computer or other devices for Internet use. Your web browser sends these cookies back to the website each time you visit. This enables us to identify you when you visit the site again and to store information about your preferences. You can find more information about cookies and how they work at: http://www.aboutcookies.org/

Certain cookies we use are necessary to enable you to navigate our website and use certain functions, such as access to protected areas and content for registered users, and to improve services. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

We also use functional cookies to store information about the settings you have selected and to customize our website to your individual needs; this concerns, for example, the selection of language and region or the information that you have already participated in a certain survey. This information is anonymized and is not used for any purposes other than those described here. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

Analysis cookies (Google Analytics) are used to recognize how many individual visitors visit our website and how often. This information is collected solely for statistical purposes and not to identify users personally. If you have also registered and logged in to our website, we have the option of linking this information with information provided to us by the analysis services and analysis cookies we use. The purpose of this is to learn more about your usage behavior on our website. These cookies are not deleted when you close your browser, but remain stored and are only automatically deleted 14 months after your last visit to our website.

You can control and manage the use of cookies at any time. However, if you deactivate cookies or delete cookies that are already on your computer, this may restrict your ability to access and use parts of the website.

You can usually use your browser settings to see which cookies are on your computer, delete individual cookies or deactivate cookies from selected or all websites. Deleting all cookies will delete all preference settings. This also applies to the deactivation of cookies you have already carried out, as the deactivation itself is linked to a cookie for the opt-out.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).

4. Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” (see point 5.). The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of our website to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. This means that IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that they cannot be linked to a specific person. If the data collected about you is personally identifiable, it is immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted immediately.

We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

We process the data you provide as part of your application for the duration of the application process and for a period of six months after the end of the month in which your application was rejected. The six-month retention period results from the defense against possible claims under the Equal Treatment Act. In addition, we only process your applicant data on the basis of separate, explicit and informed consent.

The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of contract: implementation of an application procedure) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c and f GDPR (legal basis and protection of legitimate interests: Equal Treatment Act).
